Varada Kurve


Varada Kurve is M.A. student in Business & Economics concentration at

Columbia Journalism school. Her master thesis is an investigative

feature on how content farms in Macedonia use technology platforms to

spread misinformation online. Previously,  she worked in Atlanta with

a tech-incubator and a VC fund, part of the Google of Entrepreneurs

network to build their social and editorial strategy. Before moving to

the US, she worked as a business reporter at some of the largest

financial newspapers in India. She has broken more than 600 stories

that have impacted stock performances, policy decisions, led to

government inquiries and high profile resignations. These have been

picked up by Bloomberg, New York Times, Financial Times, Wall Street

Journal and Forbes. She also interviewed some of the world’s most

influential CEOs including Richard Branson, James Murdoch (FOX), Dan

Wieden (Founder, Wieden+Kennedy), Peter T. Grauer (Chairman Bloomberg
